Our Lodge: Hacienda Tambopata

Hacienda Tambopata rainforest lodge on Tambopata River

You’ll spend the night at Hacienda Tambopata, a jungle ecolodge located on the banks of the Tambopata River, just outside the protected zone. The lodge is reached via a 1-hour drive along the Interoceanic Highway, followed by a 30-minute ride along a forest road to the village of Filadelfia. From there, a short river crossing brings you directly to the lodge.

Positioned adjacent to the Tambopata National Reserve, Hacienda Tambopata offers prime access to the Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick, located just one hour away by boat. This allows for early departures to witness the macaws’ peak activity. The lodge’s location also enables a deeper connection with the surrounding rainforest, offering tranquility, immersion in nature, and access to rich biodiversity.
