After the reception, we will proceed to the lodge located 8 kilometers away from Puerto Maldonado.

In the morning, we'll venture on an introductory walk through the forest to discover a variety of plant species and observe any wildlife we encounter along the trek.

We will enjoy lunch at the lodge

In the afternoon, we will explore the magnificent Lake Yacumama. We will begin with a brief walk. Then, boat journey across the lake, with the palm forest surrounding us. We will have the chance to watch macaws soaring through the tree tops.

We will fish for piranhas in the middle of the lake and witness one of the most impressive sunsets in the Peruvian Amazon.

Likewise, we will use flashlights to look for caimans, then we'll return to the lodge in the dark.

We will start the day with a delicious breakfast at the lodge

We proceed to the Madre de Dios River in Puerto Maldonado, where we'll board a boat and sail downstream to the entrance of the Tambopata Reserve. Our journey includes a 3 km trek through the jungle, seeking out species of capuchin and squirrel monkeys. As we traverse, we'll encounter towering trees and an array of butterflies, such as the striking blue morpho.

We will board a small boat and navigate through the palm-flooded forest in search of howler monkeys in the high branches and black caimans in the wetland.

Lake Sandoval offers an impressive panoramic view and is home to a great diversity of bird species, including agami heron, cocoi heron, puma heron, tanagers, kingfishers, cormorants and aningas. Among the most colorful species are the majestic hoatzin.

We explore the lake looking for black caimans and taricaya turtles, and if we are lucky, we might see a family of giant otters as they fish in the water.

After the boat journey, we start our return trip, and a boat will take us back to Puerto Maldonado, and then we will return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, we will embark on a boat adventure along the Tambopata River in search of capybaras and taricaya turtles. During the trip, we will observe various species of birds. We will stop on a sandbank to enjoy a wonderful sunset.

We will return with flashlights in search of white caimans along the banks of the river.

We will arrive at the lodge in time for dinner.

We will relax and rest in our lodge.

We will get up very early, before sunrise, and visit Lake Yacumama to observe macaws and other varieties of birds. We will enjoy the sunrise surrounded by untouched nature and listen to the noisy birds getting ready to start the day.

We'll go on a boat ride on the lake and then come back to the lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, we will transfer you to the airport.
